Getting Started with LeadForge

Welcome to LeadForge! This guide walks you through downloading, installing, and running your first B2B lead generation extraction.

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • Memory (RAM): 4 GB minimum (LeadForge idles at only ~50MB RAM)
  • Disk Space: 200 MB for installation, plus storage for your local SQLite database
  • Runtime: Microsoft Edge WebView2 (pre-installed on almost all Windows 10/11 machines)
  1. Download the latest installer LeadForge-Setup.exe from our GitHub Releases.
  2. Run the installer:
    • If Windows SmartScreen displays an Unrecognized App prompt, click “More info” and then “Run anyway”.
  3. Follow the installation wizard. LeadForge will launch automatically.

LeadForge searches directly across Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Yelp.

  1. Navigate to the Live Scrape tab on the left sidebar.
  2. Enter your target industry and location (e.g., Dental Clinics in Austin, TX).
  3. Select your sources:
    • Google Maps (Default)
    • Apple Maps
    • Yelp
  4. Click “Start Extraction”.

You will see live leads populate your table with verified phone numbers, websites, ratings, and addresses.

To crawl business websites for owners and email addresses:

  1. Enable “Website Enrichment” in the Scraper settings.
  2. LeadForge will visit the business website, navigate to the contact/about pages, and extract:
    • Decision Maker Names: Founders, Directors, Partners, and Owners.
    • Verified Emails: Direct business mailboxes.
    • Social Links: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and YouTube.

All scraped data is permanently stored in your local SQLite database (%APPDATA%\dev.leadforge.app\leadforge.db).

  • Click “Export to CSV” or “Export to Excel” at any time.
  • The exported file follows our standardized 64-column schema, ready for direct upload into Instantly, Smartlead, or Close CRM.
